A former youth sports coach in Kailua, Hawaii, was sentenced to 20 years in prison Thursday for producing child pornography.

U.S. District Judge Leslie Kobayashi sentenced 43-year-old Rian Ishikawa during a court hearing, according to KITV 4. After the 20 years, he will be under supervised release for an additional 15 years.

Ishikawa was arrested on June 2020, and pleaded guilty to six counts of child porn production in February 2022, according to KITV 4. In his plea agreement, he stated that from November 2012 to July 2015, he produced videos exploiting six children ages nine to 11, the outlet reported at the time.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office stated that Ishikawa utilized a hidden cell phone to videotape the children in the bathroom, according to KITV 4. (RELATED: Former Michigan Football Doctor Employed Under Legendary Coach Accused Of Sexual Misconduct)
