All-Out Brawl Breaks Out At Venezuelan Baseball Game, Fans Get Involved

Who doesn’t love a good baseball brawl?

The people in Venezuela certainly do, and yours truly went along for the ride. This shit was wild.

During a Nov. 6 Liga Venezuela Béisbol Profesional game, a league associated with Major League Baseball, the Leones del Caracas (Caracas Lions) and Tiburones de La Guaira (La Guaira Sharks) squared off in some early winter baseball action. As if winter baseball weren’t beautiful enough, these two teams decided to give us even more entertainment, and it came in the form of an all-out brawl. And not your typical baseball brawl, an ALL-OUT BRAWL.

You had one player getting rocked, another one getting smashed into a concrete wall, one getting thrown down the stairs, fans throwing shit and arguing with players — it was friggin’ awesome!

Isn’t winter baseball great?

Also, writing this and doing research into this particular Venezuelan league, I discovered that it actually has some pop to it, which isn’t the most surprising thing since it’s associated with Major League Baseball. Looking through all of the teams, you see a load of different players who are already associated with MLB clubs, so you’re dealing with legitimate professional talent at this level of baseball.
