Who doesn’t love a good fight?

We do here in America, and they apparently love it in the Philippines, too.

Officials would be forced to stop an NCAA Philippines basketball game Nov. 8 game between the Jose Rizal University Heavy Bombers and the College of Saint Benilde Blazers, following Jose Rizal’s John Amores charging a fan and throwing punches at Saint Benilde players.

First off, why on earth did he think it was a good idea to charge after a fan?

College of Saint Benilde basketball players held back Amores and prevented him from reaching them, and how did he react?

By doubling down, swinging punches at everybody in his view, and even knocking out a poor kid at the end of the fight, which nearly escalated into an all-out brawl. Which proposes another question from yours truly: The knocked out kid from Saint Benilde, why didn’t any of his teammates have his back?

Now, could we do without the fighting? (RELATED: Bryant University Thrashes Thomas College By 108 Points)

Of course, we could, but let’s be honest with ourselves, we all love a good fight — even in sports.

Why else is boxing, UFC and professional wrestling so popular?

With that being said, his teammates should’ve had his back. You can’t help but to have respect for anybody who protects their teammate, especially one who got knocked out (and didn’t even ask for it), and you just start swinging back at the opposing basketball team. Personal view: College of Saint Benilde dropped the ball.

And by the way, what the hell is up with NCAA Philippines? Who the hell knew that the Philippines had an NCAA? And from the looks of it, it’s just as bad as the one here in the United States.

Bravo, NCAA!
