“Good Morning America” host T.J. Holmes reportedly filed for divorce from his second wife Marilee Fiebig on Wednesday amid a cheating scandal involving co-host Amy Robach.

The 45-year-old has reportedly filed a divorce petition in New York City after nearly 13 years of marriage, according to Page Six. This comes on the heels of an alleged romance between Holmes and Robach, which made headlines when the Daily Mail shared photographs of the pair holding hands and acting intimately.

Sources close to the situation reported that Holmes’ alleged affair with his colleague “blindsided” Fiebig, according to Page Six. The couple had reportedly been separated for several months but were trying to reconcile when news of the romance made the headlines.

Holmes and Fiebig, an immigration lawyer, share a nine-year-old daughter named Sabine.

ABC News President Kim Godwin confirmed the suspension of both Holmes and Robach on Dec. 5 during a morning staff call, according to IndieWire. Gio Benitez and Stephanie Ramos have filled in for the suspended hosts for the third hour of “Good Morning America” during the abrupt transition. “These decisions are not easy, they are not knee jerk, but they are necessary for the brand and for our priority which, you guys know, are all of us — the people here at ABC,” Godwin said on the call, according to IndieWire.

Holmes was reportedly spotted with his arm around Robach at an Atlanta airport Dec. 26, according to Daily Mail.
