Video footage captured the moment several good samaritans rushed to save a woman from a burning car Monday after a crash in New York.

The incident unfolded around 12:02 p.m. on the Long Island Expressway when 56-year-old Susan Denise’s 2022 Jeep Liberty hit the center median and then toppled onto its side before bursting into flames, the Suffolk County Police Department said, according to Fox 5 New York.

Immediately, several good samaritans jumped into action and flipped the car upright before pulling Denise from the vehicle to safety on the right shoulder as her car continued to burn. Denise sustained burns, according to Fox 5 New York.
