“The View” co-host Whoopi Goldberg confessed on Wednesday that she does not wear underwear.
Goldberg began by talking about a recent Washington Post story about underwear and traveling.
“You know, we talk about really deep things here. This is one of them. It’s so, it’s so hard to discuss. I’m going to bring it up. It’s the great underwear debate. Apparently ‘The Washington Post’ wrote about what they call the next great travel debate,” Goldberg said.
“How much underwear do you take when you pack? People apparently had really strong opinions. I don’t wear underwear, so it’s not a question I have to think about, but I will throw it to you all.”

“I still don’t bring underwear,” Goldberg exclaimed.
Gynecologist and New York Times columnist Jen Gunter posed the same question to her Twitter followers recently, prompting The Post’s story about the underwear debate. Gunter said she found people were quite passionate about the topic in the responses to her original tweet.
Gunter reportedly discovered that there are individuals who bring a pair of underwear for each day and those who think bringing, for example, five pairs for a 14-day trip is suitable.
