Conservative commentator Mark Levin ripped the “worst radical left-wing Obama judge” and the prosecution by the Department of Justice (DOJ) on Thursday over the indictments filed against former President Donald Trump.

Levin said that the “mob boss,” referring to Attorney General Merrick Garland, approved each indictment, picking a special counsel made up of the “worst actors” of past Democratic Party administrations and the FBI to investigate the former president.

He further claimed that special counsel prosecutor Jack Smith “rewrites” statutes in order to prosecute Donald Trump, a charge of weaponization that has been contested by Bill Barr, former attorney general under Trump. The case against Trump was filed in Washington, D.C., leading to speculation by Levin that the trial is meant to get a “democratic jury” to convict the president regardless of the law. A former Obama DOJ official said of the matter that Trump is “almost certainly” going to be convicted in the case.

“He’s got the worst radical left-wing judge in America,” Levin said in reference to the court’s filing in Washington, D.C. “She’s [the judge] in charge of the case. He [referring to Jack Smith] could indict Trump for drinking too much orange juice and everybody would say ‘Great. He’s not above the law.'”

Law professor and expert Alan Dershowitz said there is “no smoking gun” and is skeptical if the Jan. 6th indictment will “survive” the legal process. (RELATED: ‘So Weak It Got Tossed Out’: Jesse Watters Slams ‘Nervous Wreck’ Jack Smith, DOJ For Trump Indictment)

Trump is under three total indictments for alleged mishandling classified documents, a campaign finance violation and now extensive charges related to the January 6th incident. The former president is expected to be arraigned for the Jan. 6th indictment Thursday.
