Lara Trump stopped by Hannity to give defend her father-in-law amid the ongoing probe by special prosecutor Jack Smith on a Thursday episode of Hannity.
Trump suggested that the Democrats are trying to eliminate former President Donald Trump as political competition before the 2024 general election.
“I mean, they’re obsessed with him. It’s pretty clear,” Trump said, “And, you know, I think they thought Sean that after the 2020 election the Donald Trump situation was over for them.” (RELATED: Lara Trump Slams New Indictment As Attempt To Prevent Trump From ‘Taking Down The Machine’)
She pointed out that Donald Trump believes that he won the 2020 election, a notion that is untrue. She also claimed that Joe Biden’s struggling performance is the motive behind the indictment against the former president.

“Joe Biden has not only failed this country. Utterly, he is unable to do the job of president of the United States. We can see that day by day,” she said.
She argued that Joe Biden’s purported corruption serves as an issue for the Democrats, which has lead them to try and kneecap Trump prior to the general election.
“They have weaponized every system possible against their political opponent, third world communist tactics,” she said.
However, Lara Trump argued that the Democrats’ supposed underhanded actions have made Donald Trumps “stronger.”
“I believe that Donald Trump was made for such a time as this,” she said.
Former president Donald Trump was indicted on Tuesday over purportedly attempting to overturn the 2020 election. Trump has been handed three separate indictments, making him the first president to face criminal charges.
