Daily Caller co-founder Tucker Carlson’s second interview with Hunter Biden’s business associate Devon Archer came out Friday morning.
Archer revealed new details about his association with Hunter in an hour-long interview with Carlson. Archer said he is under the assumption that Hunter spoke to his father about Ukrainian energy company Burisma, where the first son served as a board of directors.
“Did you ever, were you aware, do you have knowledge that Hunter spoke to his dad about Burisma?” Carlson asked.
“Do I have knowledge?” Archer responded.
“Yes. Do you have know that spoke to his dad about Burisma? Did you ever see them talk about it? Hear them talk about it?” Carlson asked.
“No, I don’t have knowledge of that, though I assume it,” Archer said.

He told Carlson “it was a very big strategic mistake” to form a business partnership with Hunter.
“Looking back at the body of work, it was a very big strategic mistake for me to be involved with him and so it was my fault because quite frankly I was pitching Burisma Rosemont Realty and that ended up, the genesis, that was me but the trajectory of my life would’ve been far different and arguable far better if I have never met him,” Archer said.
Archer also told Carlson that Ukrainian diplomat Vadym Prystaiko talked to Biden, the then-vice president, at a May 2014 economic conference dinner at Cafe Milano in Lake Como, Italy, and he had frequently requested to speak on the phone with him. The former business associate said he is unaware of any specific phone calls or whether there are conversations between Biden and Vadym about Burisma. Archer confirmed in the interview that former Ukrainian Prosecutor Viktor Shokin was a threat to Burisma, who later got fired allegedly at the behest of the Biden family. An FD-1023 form leaked by a Department of Justice whistleblower alleged Zlochevsky bribed Biden and Hunter with $5 million to get Shokin fired.
Prior to the 2020 presidential election, Biden denied having any knowledge or communication with his son about his business dealings. Whistleblowers from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) testimony before Congress providing details indicating Biden’s involvement with Hunter’s business dealings, and how the agencies refused to prosecute Hunter for his tax crimes.
Archer testified before the House Oversight Committee Monday that Hunter called his father on speakerphone while surrounded by foreign business associates on over twenty occasions in the span of ten years.
The former business associate also described James “Jimmy” Biden, who had also been involved in the overseas dealings.
“He [James] really picked up, you know, post my issues and worked with him in business, that business that he got into in China and Romania kind of after my tenure at Rosemont Seneca Partners,” Archer told Carlson. “But he was, I think, he probably filled some void of companionship and business companionship, you know, in the years after I was, you know, basically…”
“Did you ever spend time with him?” Carlson asked.
“Not a lot, you know, three or four times,” Archer replied.
He added he has no real opinion on James or did any business deal with him. James partnered with Hunter in his business deals with CEFC China Energy.
A previously released portion of Carlson’s interview with Archer revealed that then-Vice President Biden sent him a letter apologizing for not speaking to him at a dinner event where he hosted former Chinese President Hu Jintao. The letter was dated January 20, 2011, right at the beginning of Archer and Hunter’s business partnership.
He appeared to confirm about Hunter’s involvement in Burisma’s U.S. visa deal in May 2014. Archer and Hunter worked with former Boies Schiller & Flexner LLP partner Heather King and other business associates to influence government officials in an attempt to secure a U.S. visa for Zlochevsky.
