A woman, known only in court papers as Jane Doe, filed a lawsuit against billionaire financier Leon Black on Aug. 1, accusing him of sexually assaulting her when she was 16-years-old.

The assault is said to have taken place at late child sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein’s Manhattan home when the girl was a teenager, according to CNN. The woman has autism and a rare form of Down syndrome, leaving her “developmentally … about 12-years-old,” according to her lawyers.

The lawsuit describes Jane Doe’s account of the assault, which allegedly left her bleeding and crying. Attornies for Black deny all claims against him, calling the lawsuit “frivolous” and made of “vicious and defamatory lies,” CNN continued.

Black, 71, is the former CEO of Apollo Global Management, a firm he was forced to leave after he allegedly wired Epstein at least $50 million in 2008 while denying a close relationship with the sex offender. He was later found to have paid Epstein $158 million for financial advice between 2012 and 2017. (RELATED: You May Soon Vacation On Jeffrey Epstein’s Notorious Child Sex Island)

Black is currently being investigated by the Senate Finance Committee in relation to the latter payment to Epstein. He has previous said he “deeply” regrets his relationship with Epstein, which he claims was entirely focused on “estate planning, tax, and philanthropic endeavors.”
