Legendary soap opera star Eric Braeden took to Facebook Live on Sunday to share a critical health update with his fans.

The famous 82-year-old actor was recently diagnosed with cancer, sharing his diagnosis with his fans and followers in April. Braeden’s latest post was a good news update in which he let fans know he’s seemingly won the battle against cancer.

“As of three days ago, I am cancer-free,” Braeden said in the video. He recently underwent testing and said, “They couldn’t find a damn thing. Isn’t that nice?”

Braeden candidly explained the symptoms he faced prior to his grim prostate cancer diagnosis, and told fans back in April how much their support meant to them. “I thank you for all of your good thoughts, all of your prayers,” he said.

The actor noted how beneficial the love and support surrounding him was in his recovery process.

“I can tell you it obviously has helped because I had my last cystoscopy two days ago — that’s when they thread a camera into your bladder — and I am cancer-free,” he said on Facebook Live.

The soap opera star went on to say that just because his bladder is free of cancer cells does not mean “this is all over,” and he noted he plans to continue monitoring his body and overall health.

The “Young and the Restless” star told fans he is awaiting some MRI results to ensure the cancer had not spread to other parts of his body, and remains optimistic this is the end of his struggle.

Braeden said for the time being, he is enjoying his cancer-free results with loved ones. (RELATED: ‘I Had An Encased Malignant Tumor’: Reality TV Star Hannah Brown Recalls Huge Health Scare She had At Age 11)

“I love life, man. Why wouldn’t I?” he said. “I’m working on the number one show. It has been number one for 38 years now. Why would I complain? That would be obscene.”
