Fox News anchor Brian Kilmeade looked visibly frustrated as his fellow “Fox & Friends” co-hosts suggested the date of former President Donald Trump’s trial does not matter.

Kilmeade argued it is plausible for the public to view the indictments against former President Donald Trump as a political attack, leading him to be the current frontrunner. Co-host Steve Doocy said the trial date is insignificant as there will be convictions regardless.

Kilmeade interjected, suggesting the date of trial in Georgia is a political tactic. Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis filed a motion to set the trial date to one day before Super Tuesday.

“Let’s see how all these trial things play out. I believe it was Alan Dershowitz who said a couple of days ago, given all of these allegations and all of these charges, he said there will be convictions. So, let’s see how that all pans out and it was Mark Meadows that just said, we have over 400 days ago, there’s a lot more movie to see,” Doocy said.

“When the Georgia prosecutor comes out and says, ‘I want it the day before Super Tuesday,’ how do you pretend as if it’s not politically oriented?” Kilmeade asked.

“That’s not gonna happen,” Doocy said. (RELATED: Jonathan Turley Warns Georgia DA May Have ‘Tripped The Wire’ With Her ‘Jackson Pollock School Of Prosecution’ Approach)

Co-host Ainsley Earhardt agreed the trial will not occur on the day Willis recommended, and said legal officials will need more time than six months to prepare a trial for nineteen defendants.

A grand jury handed down a 13-count indictment against Trump and eighteen of his allies in Fulton County, Georgia, on Monday night in connection to their alleged engagement in conspiracy to overturn the 2020 presidential election results.

Trump has accused all four of his criminal indictments of being an election inference attempt.

“Like Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg, Deranged Jack Smith, and New York AG Letitia James, Fulton County, GA’s radical Democrat District Attorney Fani Willis is a rabid partisan who is campaigning and fundraising on a platform of prosecuting President Trump through these bogus indictments,” the Trump campaign said in a statement. “Ripping a page from Crooked Joe Biden’s playbook, Willis has strategically stalled her investigation to try and maximally interfere with the 2024 presidential race and damage the dominant Trump campaign. All of these corrupt Democrat attempts will fail.”
