Republican South Carolina Rep and House Oversight Committee member Nancy Mace warned President Joe Biden on Monday that House Republicans are “coming for” him amid the investigations surrounding his son, Hunter Biden.

Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy said Sunday that an impeachment inquiry into the president is the “natural step forward,” weeks after Attorney General Merrick Garland appointed David Weiss as special counsel in the Department of Justice’s (DOJ) ongoing investigation into Hunter Biden.

White House spokesperson Ian Sams responded Sunday night, alleging Congress never requested documents and arguing the potential impeachment inquiry is “crazy” and “rooted not in facts [and] truth but partisan shamelessness.”

Mace joined “America’s Newsroom” on Monday, where she responded to the White House’s comments. (RELATED: Fired Ukrainian Prosecutor Says It Would Take ‘Half A Day’ To Go Through All Crimes He Was Investigating Bidens For)

“Well, I have a message for Joe Biden this morning: We’re coming for you,” Mace said. “If you will not answer the questions for the American people, the Oversight Committee will answer them for you with regards to the investigation we’re going to be conducting. It is time for Joe Biden to start telling the American people the truth.”

“Why wasn’t the White House on any of the Sunday shows yesterday? Why will they not answer the questions, why does Joe Biden avoid the questions? And when he answers them, he’s lying to the American people,” Mace argued. “The American people just deserve the truth and nothing but the truth.” (RELATED: Joe Biden Asked About Special Counsel Appointment In Hunter Biden Case)

Then-Vice President Joe Biden used a fake name in email exchanges to schedule a meeting with then-Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, emails from Hunter Biden’s laptop archive show. Joe Biden used at least three aliases, according to the laptop archive. The Republican-led House Oversight Committee has requested the National Archives and Records Administration turn over any unredacted records of Biden’s communications about Ukraine and Burisma while he served as vice president, including any communications under his pseudonyms.
