Caitlyn Jenner showed off a sense of humor Tuesday when responding to a restaurant’s gender transition joke.

An image of Jenner post-transition was blown up and plastered to the door of the Texas establishment’s women’s bathroom, while an image of Jenner pre-transition was placed on the door of the men’s bathroom, the resurfaced meme posted on Twitter shows. The text “Funny or Not” accompanied the photo.

“Funny as hell,” Jenner responded on Twitter, reposting the meme. (RELATED: Caitlyn Jenner Said Trans Swimmer Lia Thomas Shouldn’t ‘Be Able To Compete’ In The NCAA)

Dodie’s Place Cajun Bar & Grill apologized to Jenner in Nov. 2017 after the restaurant’s bathroom joke evoked accusations of transphobia. The restaurant clarified that the bathroom doors were “merely a lighthearted gesture to push back against the political correctness that seems to have a stranglehold on the country right now,” according to a Facebook post.

Caitlyn Jenner was formerly known as Bruce Jenner, an athlete who won the gold medal in the men’s decathlon during the 1976 Summer Olympics at age 26. In March 2022, Jenner became a contributor for Fox News Media after a failed 2021 run for California governor. Jenner has aligned with conservative positions, especially those regarding transgender athletes’ participation in sports.
