Halle Berry slammed Drake on social media Sunday for using an image of her being slimed on his new album, apparently without her consent.

Berry criticized Drake for using a photograph of her being slimed at the 2012 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards as the cover art for his hit single with SZA, called “Slime You Out.” She expressed her frustration but was called out by a fan who reminded her the rights to the image belonged to Getty, and if Drake paid to use it, he was within his full legal right to do so. Berry snapped back with a fiery response.

A user that goes by the name madambosss_ replied to a post Berry put up Saturday, reaming the famous Canadian rapper for his actions.

“While I do understand your side. That photo is owned by Getty Images. So im sure he got their permission. And paid the fee. 🙌🏼 why you mad,” the fan wrote on Berry’s Instagram page.

The “Catwoman” star unleashed on the fan by angrily providing more context.

“Cuz he asked me and I said NO that’s why,” Berry wrote in her reply. (RELATED: Halle Berry Finalizes Divorce From Olivier Martinez After Eight Years)

“Why ask if you intend to do what you want to do ! That was the fuck you to me. Not cool You get it? ❤️,” Berry wrote.

Berry initially expressed how upset she was about Drake’s use of her image by posting a message to Instagram Saturday that read, “Sometimes you have to be the bigger guy … even if you’re a woman!”

Drake has not publicly commented on the matter.
