Country music superstars Thomas Rhett and Morgan Wallen dropped a surprise track Thursday called “Mamaw’s House.”

It’s not just the incredibly moving lyrics of “Mamaw’s House” that are making it a fall anthem, it’s the beautiful music-lyric video. While a lot of artists will use their lyric videos as an easy excuse to just show the words of a song on a boring background, Rhett and Wallen’s production really went above and beyond to ensure that all viewers and listeners were literally brought into their Mamaw’s house.

The new song is just one of many surprises from Wallen in the last week. On Tuesday, he revealed he’s extending his current “One Night At A Time” tour into 2024, adding a slew of new stadium shows. (RELATED: Want Morgan Wallen Tickets? It’ll Literally Cost You Your Blood)

Wallen announced the new shows with the help of two friends — former NFL superstar brothers Peyton and Eli Manning. The three men released a hilarious video, with Peyton really winning the comedy (almost exclusively at Wallen’s expense).

On Thursday, Wallen also won three awards at the People’s Choice Country Awards, according to Billboard. One of those wins was for the People’s Artist of the Year Award 2023. Obviously, Wallen deserved the win, given that he’s the biggest musician in the country right now. But after so many snubs from mainstream awards shows, it was never a guarantee.
