Bone Thugs-N-Harmony rapper Krazyie Bone posted an image of himself in his hospital bed Wednesday and described his grueling fight to stay alive.
Krayzie Bone took to Instagram to share a photograph of himself dressed in a hospital gown and hooked up to tubes and an IV. He shared details about the serious health issue that nearly cost him his life.
“Just fought for life ‘Literally for 9 days straight. And I only won the battle this time because I know Jehovah God was with me every step of the way fighting for me,” he wrote.

The influential rap artist checked himself into the hospital September 22 after coughing up a significant amount of blood, according to All Hip Hop. Medical tests reportedly uncovered he had an artery leaking inside one of his lungs, so he was rushed into immediate surgery. A secondary surgical procedure was also required to save his life, according to TMZ.
He reminded fans to appreciate life by putting his current health condition in perspective.

“Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers trust me I needed every last one of them,” he wrote to his Instagram account.
