During his arrest in September, former NFL star Chandler Jones spent nearly 30 minutes with officers, and according to the video obtained by TMZ, Jones acted  bizarre, going on weird rants and making strange requests throughout the entire interaction.

The confrontation between Jones and officers from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department started in front of his ex’s home following a complaint that he was violating his temporary protection order, according to police documents, per TMZ.

Footage from one officer’s body camera shows Jones instantly making odd requests to police while sitting inside his Mercedes SUV, according to the outlet.

“I want you to grab me and take me out,” Jones said. “Please.”

Then, Jones asked one of the officers to hand his phone to the other cop on the scene, and then went on to explain why he was parked in front of his ex’s home.

“I’m sorry about this,” said Jones. “The reason why I’m here is because I was taking out her trash, and I was just dropping off the dumpster in the backseat. No problem.”

Jones then started asking the police for more favors, initially requesting that they remove his hat. Next, he requested to sit down on the ground and later asked an officer to itch his nose and lift his shirt up.

Police eventually told Jones they were taking him to jail for his TPO violation, but he continued to behave strangely as they attempted to place him in a squad car.

“Look at me. I’m 6’5. I’m a professional athlete, bro. I have 112 sacks — I play for the Raiders,” Jones ranted, claiming he couldn’t fit in the vehicle.

When officers told him he could have water when he got to jail, Jones asked whether it was Dasani or Aquafina.

But Jones wasn’t done making requests, asking police for his car keys and becoming obviously irritated soon after.

“Sir, can you take me to jail, sir?” asked Jones. “Because I’ll make louder noises, and make a sheriff come out here. Take me to jail now, or I’ll make louder noises.”

“Sir!” Jones yelled. “Oh my God! I need help! Help! Give him the key!”

“I will not sue you,” Jones then said after an officer tried to put him back in the squad car, later adding, “I’m a millionaire.”

Jones was transported to jail and booked on two charges of violating a domestic violence temporary protection order, according to TMZ. He was later released. (RELATED: Jaguars Or Steelers? Browns Or Seahawks? Bengals Or 49ers? Andrew Powell Makes His NFL Week 8 Picks)

The former Raiders player was reportedly arrested earlier in October, just a few days after he was released from jail, for sending his ex Instagram messages, according to police documents, per TMZ.

Jones, 33, hasn’t played in the NFL since 2022. The pass rusher is currently a free agent after the Raiders cut him in September following his first arrest.
