These are some outright wild allegations.

To be honest, I haven’t really cared about the sign-stealing claims surrounding Michigan, which is why I haven’t been blogging about it — I’m with Deion Sanders, where we think the Wolverines “still got to stop” an opponent no matter how many signs they allegedly steal.

But I’m not gonna lie, this latest bombshell report has pulled me in, and that’s because it looks like other teams are about to join the drama.

The latest allegations slamming Michigan come from FootballScoop, who are reporting “that Michigan may have attempted to assist the opposition of a potential CFP opponent in an effort to disrupt that team’s potential path to the Playoff.”

The outlet also alleges that Michigan scouted Georgia and Tennessee at minimum in the SEC, however, it doesn’t name any schools that Michigan was apparently trying to help or helped if an offers were accepted.

You Michigan haters now have my interest.

Knowing the history of college football the way I do, the extremities that programs go to in order to win and Jim Harbaugh already being suspended three games earlier this season for other violations, I can totally see these allegations being true. Plus, didn’t the Houston Astros get busted for this just a few years ago in baseball?

Of course, the claims are believable but we’ll see if they’re true.
