Gwyneth Paltrow’s trial over a skiing incident will soon become a musical and hit the stage in London, just in time for the holidays.

“Gwyneth Goes Skiing” is set to launch as a theatrical production that parodies the famous actress’ widely publicized legal battle against Terry Sanderson, a retired optometrist who sued her for injuries he claimed he suffered when she collided into him at a ski resort in 2016, according to CBS News. The musical is being described as “a story of love, betrayal, skiing, and (somehow) Christmas — where you are the jury!”

London’s Pleasance Theatre is scheduled to open the musical December 13 and will continue running it until the finale of the show, which is currently scheduled for December 23, CBS News reported. The show is listed as being “a brand new show for Christmas 2023,” and stars performers Linus Karp and Joseph Martin as Paltrow and Sanderson, respectively.

Renowned dance pop and electronic singer-songwriter Leland, most famous for creating the song for “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” created an original score for this production, per CBS News.

“She’s the Goop-founding, Door-Sliding, Shakespeare-In-Loving, consciously-uncoupling Hollywood superstar. He’s a retired Optometrist from Utah. In 2016, they went skiing,” the theater’s website reads. “On the slopes of Deer Valley, their worlds collided, and so did they — literally. Ouch. Seven years later in 2023, they went to court. Double ouch.” (RELATED: ‘Very Loose With The Goods’: Gwyneth Paltrow Reveals Why She Turned Down Leonardo DiCaprio)

Sanderson initially sued Paltrow for $3 million but then adjusted the total damages to “more than $300,000, according to CBS. Paltrow went on to countersue Sanderson for $1 plus attorney fees. She was ultimately found not to have been responsible for Sanderson’s injuries in this case.
