This is the most horrendous timing of all time.

Only hours after the Las Vegas Raiders‘ social media team dropped a video praising both defensive end Isaac Rochell and his brother Matt — who is a member of the United States Air Force — the team released him! I’m not even kidding you! In the most disrespectful ish ever, the Raiders released Rochell on the same day they … honored? … the military.

Love this tweet by the way (LMAO):

Published Tuesday to Twitter after Veteran’s Day this past weekend, the video showed Isaac speaking about his older brother and the impact that he had on him.

“It kind of puts things in perspective. Like for him, he got to school, he had his phone taken away, went straight into basic training. So, for me seeing that, it kind of makes you take a step back. … They’re still in school, still playing football, but like I mentioned basic training, survival training, not having your phone when you’re 18, just getting to college. Those are all things that build calluses and make you a little bit tougher,” said Rochell.

But despite the millions of views and heartstrings being pulled everywhere, Rochell was cut from the team only three hours later in what has to be the most disrespectful and horrible timing of all time. Even Rochell chimed in on Twitter:

DISRESPECTFUL! I can’t say it enough.
