Some of you may have seen the term “Disease X” floating around on social media and in news headlines in January, but what the heck is this thing?

Like with most things related to the World Economic Forum (WEF), “Disease X” sounds like the next attempt to cull society and narrow power to a handful of cartoonish Bond villains hanging out in Davos, Switzerland, in January. World Health Organization (WHO) director-general Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus is hosting a seminar on preparing for the next pandemic — “Disease X” — on Wednesday,  and it sounds absolutely horrifying.

Apparently “Disease X” could kill 20 times more people than the COVID-19 pandemic, WEF argued. And since WEF had nothing to do with the mitigation of deaths during COVID-19, it’s unclear why they’re seemingly leading the charge against this next pandemic (which technically hasn’t started yet).

“With fresh warnings from the World Health Organization that an unknown ‘Disease X’ could result in 20 times more fatalities than the coronavirus pandemic, what novel efforts are needed to prepare healthcare systems for the multiple challenges ahead?” the event description reads, which seems to imply “Disease X” is a general term given to whatever nasty pathogens are being cooked up in labs or reawakening from defrosting tundra.

And while “Disease X” might not be real right now, scientists in China just developed a mutant strain of COVID-19 that kills 100% of lab mice it’s tested on, and it could easily spread into humans. China is also dealing with an ongoing outbreak of an unknown virus that also has a high fatality rate, leading some authorities to consider going back into lockdown.

Apparently, the blueprint for WEF and WHO’s unelected antics was the Ebola epidemic, where more than 11,300 people died across West Africa, according to The Hill. But that still doesn’t explain why China is allowed to develop such deadly diseases in their labs. Surely this entire situation could be avoided if we just stopped doing stupid stuff … like making deadly diseases in labs! Even if “Disease X” isn’t real, or never becomes real, the fear-mongering provided by WHO and WEF’s discussions of the topic has certainly reached a fever point online. Alex Jones went viral again in January with a monologue on “Disease X,” and judging by the comments, y’all are pretty terrified about what will happen next too.

And more than anything, none of you seem to trust members of WEF or WHO. And why would you? You never elected them to make decisions about your life, but here they are, doing it anyway.
