The Los Angeles Police Department is reportedly investigating after the home of “Squid Game” actor Lee Byung-hun was ransacked and robbed sometime last week.

A staffer working for Byung-hun stopped at his Los Angeles area home to check in on the property and realized there was a problem, according to TMZ. Reports indicate the entire residence was ransacked and left in complete disarray after thieves reportedly smashed a sliding glass door in order to gain access.  The famous actor was out of town at the time of the robbery, TMZ reported, citing law enforcement sources.

Police do not believe the Netflix star was specifically targeted in this case, noting that a slew of high-end homes in the area have been robbed recently, according to TMZ.

It’s unclear what was taken from the “Squid Game” star’s home, and what the value of those items was, as the actor has not yet been able to return to assess his personal items and provide a complete list of missing items, the outlet reported.

Keanu Reeves, Damson Idris, Chet Hanks, Lena Waithe and Terence Crawford are among many celebrities who have been targeted by burglars in recent months. The Los Angeles Police Department is aware of the trend, but has been unable to put an end to the rash of robberies. (RELATED: Chet Hanks Punches Out Alleged Would-Be Robber: REPORT)

There have been no arrests in this case, and no suspect information has been shared at this time, according to TMZ.
