Vivek Ramaswamy took to Twitter on Monday to share a theory involving a rigged football game and a potential endorsement from pop superstar Taylor Swift.

The former presidential candidate seemed to suggest that the Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce’s relationship with Swift a publicity stunt, that the Chiefs’ victory in Super Bowl LVIII has been predetermined and that Swift will harness the ensuing wave of publicity to endorse President Joe Biden for reelection.

Many Twitter users agreed the theory is plausible, while others dismissed it as absurd. (RELATED: I Gotta Give Him His Props: Taylor’s Boyfriend Travis Kelce Breaks Jerry Rice’s All-Time Postseason Receptions Record)

“I wonder who’s going to win the Super Bowl next month. And I wonder if there’s a major presidential endorsement coming from an artificially culturally propped-up couple this fall. Just some wild speculation over here, let’s see how it ages over the next 8 months,” Ramaswamy wrote on Twitter.

Fox News columnist David Marcus argued that the Chiefs don’t need anyone to fix the big game for them, noting that Kansas City has won three of the last four Super Bowls.

Podcaster Noam Blum also laughed off Ramaswamy’s theory.

“Taylor Swift endorsed Biden in 2020 but this time it’s definitely a psy op,” he wrote sarcastically. “Amazing that people buy this grift horseshit and ask for seconds.”

The singer-songwriter showed support for Biden in 2020 with an Instagram post showing off cookies decorated with his campaign logo, an image Biden shared to his own account.
