The Milwaukee Bucks are floundering and newly minted head coach Doc Rivers is not happy about it.

Following an embarrassing loss to the depleted Memphis Grizzlies, Doc had some harsh words for his squad.

“We come back on our set, two guys forget what we’re running. Then we missed a shot and nobody gets back, that’s how we start out the third quarter. That tells you all you need to know about where our heads were. We had some guys here, we had some guys in Cabo,” Rivers told reporters after the game.

Attitude reflects leadership, coach.

If your team isn’t focused, that’s squarely on you, Doc. (RELATED: Small School Senior Breaks Unbelievable NCAA Record)

I tried to warn Milwaukee! As a long-suffering Clippers fan I told anyone and everyone who would listen that Doc Rivers is a fraud and a bum and he will single-handedly ruin your franchise. In fact, I called it the worst hire in NBA history.

While he’s still early into his Milwaukee tenure, it certainly looks like he’s proving me right so far.

The Bucks are 3-7 since Rivers took over the job from his fired predecessor Adrian Griffin. Before the Rivers era the Bucks were in second place in the Eastern Conference. Since he took over they’ve dropped to third and are only a game and a half ahead of the fourth-place New York Knicks.

The Grizzlies loss, however, is the nadir of Doc’s time in Milwaukee, as Memphis had a stunning ten players missing and still managed to pull out the win.

Mercifully, for Doc, the NBA All-Star Break is here and he’ll have some time to go back to the drawing board and try to get his squad on track. I have my doubts he’ll pull through, but stranger things have happened.
