Footage shared late Monday reportedly shows the moment country music icon Morgan Wallen allegedly threw a chair off the roof of Eric Church’s Nashville bar and his subsequent arrest.
A slew of videos were shared allegedly showing the moment Wallen, 30, was arrested, when he was placed in a patrol car, as well as the moment the chair he allegedly launched off the roof landed on Broadway in Nashville. There is even footage of the chair involved in the alleged incident being carted back into Church’s bar by a police officer, social media users claimed.
Wallen stands accused of throwing the chair off the sixth floor of Church’s bar shortly before 11pm on Sunday night. Reports suggest he’s facing three felonies for his behavior. In one blurry video, users claim the white-pants, blue-shirt-styled Wallen is being arrested following the incident.

Another social media account, and even those wandering around in the video, then claimed Wallen was placed in the back of a patrol car. It is unclear if he was banging his head on the window, or whether he slammed a last call shot glass before losing everything in his billfold, as depicted in his hit song “Dangerous.”
At 10:53p Sunday evening Morgan Wallen was arrested in downtown Nashville for reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct, bond was set at $15,250.

Then there was the alleged chair itself. Jokes aside, Wallen is genuinely lucky he didn’t kill anyone if he really was the one hurling the furniture around. In the footage shared online, the chair looks like one of those ultra bulk patio chairs designed to withstand high winds. It could have killed multiple people had it landed on them. The incident appears to have happened shortly before the end of the CMT Awards on Sunday night. Though the awards are supposed to be for country music artists, Wallen only received one nomination. Even though his actions were pretty horrendous, they definitely drew all attention away from CMT.
