Small-town Texas surgeon Dr. Ethan Haim is the latest target of the Biden regime for blowing the whistle on Texas Children’s Hospital.

Haim is facing ten years in federal prison and a $250,000 fine for exposing Texas Children’s Hospital (TCH), the largest children’s hospital in the world, for having a secret transgender program targeting minors.

The United States attorney for the Southern District of Texas, Alamdar S. Hamdani, announced his office was going after Haim on Monday. They claim that he unlawfully obtained protected individual health information for minor patients undergoing harmful transgender procedures, including surgeries, and reported these cases as proof that TCH was lying to the public about the existence of their program.

Texas outlawed so-called “gender-affirming care” for minors, which would have required TCH to shut down their operations on children. However, Haim exposed that these were still taking place, and now the Biden regime is claiming that he “obtained this information under false pretenses and with intent to cause malicious harm to TCH.”

The U.S. attorney also accuses Haim of disclosing personal information about these patients to the media. However, his contact, Christopher Rufo, maintains that Haim heavily redacted all the information he was given and never disclosed any identifying information in the process of exposing the hospital’s illegal behavior. “There’s nothing a doctor should do behind closed doors that they’re unwilling to defend in public,’ Haim told the Daily Caller News Foundation. “That’s never how medicine should be, especially when it involves children.”

There is no secret that the Biden administration fully supports child mutilation by the transgender cult. Their attacks on Haim have nothing to do with patient confidentiality and everything to do with him exposing TCH for breaking Texas law and harming minors.
