CHERRY HILL, N.J. (AP) — Subaru of America Inc. said Tuesday that its 2009 sales rose 15 percent and December sales rose 33 percent, ending a year the company said was its best ever in terms of sales and market share.
BY THE NUMBERS: Sales rose to 23,074 in December from 17,287 last year. For the year, units sold rose to 216,652 from 187,699.
TOP SELLER: The Outback, with 8,376 sold in December, more than double its sales for the month a year earlier.
