It’s a Boston Marathon for the record books.

On a breezy and brilliant day, Kenya’s Robert Cheruiyot posted a blistering 2:05:51 shattering the course record.

On the women’s side, Ethiopia’s Teyba Erkesso recorded the fourth best time with a finish of 2:26:11.

Out on the course with thousands more runners still making their way along the 26.2-mile course, the sunny day has brought out fans from Hopkinton to the Hub.
