One of two men who was asked to leave the Phoenix Suns game last week for wearing a T-shirt in support of Arizona’s new, tough illegal immigration law revealed more details about his encounter.

Appearing on Fox’s America Live with Megyn Kelly, Jim Clark recalled how he and his friend were escorted out of their seats and told to leave the stadium.

I think it was over the top for them, and since I paid several hundreds of dollars for these seats, I thought it was my turn to make a statement because they were certainly making one to me and shoving their political views down my throat.

And just because they had national coverage they didn’t want anybody else to have it  And they tactics that they used, they only word I can think is ‘Gestapo type’ meaning once we were out of the stadium they wanted to see our tickets and if we didn’t have them in the proper order, they would boot us out of the building

In the end, the two were allowed to return and watch the game. The President of the Suns later apologized — with sweet tickets, on the house, for 10 games.
