President Obama awarded a Medal of Honor today to the family of a once-secret victim of the Vietnam War.
Chief Master Sgt. Richard Etchberger died while saving three colleagues during a 1968 attack on a radar installation in Laos — an event the U.S. military covered up for years.
Why? Because troops weren’t supposed to be in Laos, a neutral country.
