It will take all the Republican presidential contenders hammering away at President Barack Obama’s record to defeat him in 2012, Minnesota Republican Tim Pawlenty told Iowans on Tuesday night.
“I think it’s time to say, ‘It’s time to get off the sideline,’ ” Pawlenty said. “We’ve got less than a year and a half to beat him … and it’s going to take all of us going full tilt to beat him.”
