Justin Timberlake opened up to Vanity Fair in a tell-all interview discussing everything from his love life to his film career. When asked about his former significant other, Miss Britney Spears, Timberlake told the mag he hasn’t talked to the pop star in “9 or 10 years.” The couple, who were arguably the prince and princess of pop, have gone in different directions since their break-up in 2002. Timberlake released a solo album and headed for Hollywood, and Spears, well, struggled under the spotlight. He said their lack of communication isn’t because of any bad blood, but merely a result of growing up and growing apart.

“We were two birds of the same feather — small-town kids, doing the same thing. But then you become adults, and the way you were as kids doesn’t make any sense. I won’t speak on her, but at least for me, I was a totally different person. I just don’t think we were normal; there was nothing normal about our existence. We spent way too much time being the biggest thing for teenyboppers,” Timberlake told Vanity Fair. “We were little kids with big toys. You do the math — that’s not going to last,” he continued.

Timberlake’s most notable relationship as of late was his four-year romance with actress Jessica Biel. The couple split in March of this year, but Timberlake said Biel is still “single-handedly the most important person in my life.” He didn’t disclose any details about what prompted the split, but it was clear he still has strong feelings for his ex.

“In my 30 years, she is the most special person, okay?… I don’t want to say much more, because I have to protect things that are dear to me – for instance, her,” Timberlake said.

Since the break-up, the Hollywood A-lister has been linked to newly-single starlets Olivia Wilde and Ashley Olsen, as well as his “Friends with Benefits” co-star, Mila Kunis. Although Timberlake refused to confirm any rumors, he did admit that he will only date a fellow celebrity. He said his reasoning is because the only people who can cope with his life in the spotlight are people who are familiar with fame themselves.

“Why do you think we wind up dating each other, and feeling more comfortable around each other? We understand what it’s like. ‘Oh, thank God — finally, somebody who knows how I feel. It’s refuge,” he said.

Timberlake also talked to the mag about baring it all on the big screen. Fans will catch a few shots of a nearly nude Timberlake in the upcoming comedy, “Friends with Benefits.”

“It was fun,” Timberlake says, “but I can’t say I’m going to be butt-naked in a movie again. I only did it because I’m young now, and everything’s where it’s supposed to be. I figured this is the time, before gravity gets the best of me.”

The teenybopper, turned solo artist, turned actor, turned comedian has a lot on his plate. After delivering a critically-acclaimed performance in “The Social Network,” and lead roles in upcoming flicks, “Bad Teacher,” and “Friends with Benefits,” music lovers fear JT may have put his singing days behind him.

When asked about the future of his music career Timberlake said, “I wouldn’t say I’m not going to put out another [album]. I would say that would be a bad bet, if you were betting. But I could see myself only doing one more big tour.”
