INDIANAPOLIS – Rather than wearing his usual attire, New England coach Bill Belichick appeared in a blue suit and showed a sense of humor when he met with the media Sunday night.

Belichick, who’s coaching in his fifth Super Bowl in 11 years, was asked about the reception the Patriots received when they arrived in a city where they’re hated because of their rivalry with the Colts.

“I never had too much hospitality here until I went for it on fourth-and-2, and ever since then, I’ve been greeted in a lot more friendly manner than I ever was in the past,” he said about the Patriots’ 35-34 loss in November 2009.

In that game, the Patriots led 34-21 with 4:12 left. After the Colts made it 34-28, Belichick went for it at his 28 and failed to get a first down. Peyton Manning threw the winning touchdown pass with 13 seconds left.
