One-legged Paralympian Josh Sundquist was dealt a rough hand when he lost his leg to cancer at the age of nine. He went on to make the US Paralympic ski team in 2006 and competed in Turin.

Although he did not medal in his two alpine events, he spun his experiences into a career as a motivational speaker, writer and really, really creative Halloween costume designer.

In 2010, he went as a half-eaten gingerbread man. In 2012, he went as the iconic leg lamp from “A Christmas Story.” What will he be this year? He took to the people’s platform, YouTube, to announce it.
