MSNBC host and noted fancy lad Chris Hayes admitted to “crying into [his] sweater” in the first tweet that he ever publicly sent.
“Looking out the window and quietly crying into my sweater,” Hayes tweeted on April 11, 2007. The bombshell discovery of Hayes’ tweet was made by blogger Tyler McNally late Monday night.
Hayes, who graduated from New York City’s Hunter College High School and holds a degree in philosophy from Brown University, was employed at the time as a writing fellow at the Nation Institute and as a contributing writer at The Nation magazine.
It is unclear how many times Hayes has cried into his sweater after looking at his ratings on MSNBC.
