Martha Stewart loves drones, and she used one recently to take photos of her massive farm.

Stewart posted the photos on her blog Wednesday — 31 “amazing aerial photos of my farm” taken with a “new toy,” a DJI Phantom flying camera. She said the drone is “lots of fun to play with and take[s] extraordinary photos.”

But, of course, you need to learn how to control one first. And since her farm has a lot of open space, Dominic Arena, a member of her security team and owner of this drone, decided to practice there with Stewart, calling the results “amazing.”

And this isn’t the first time that Stewart has shown a passion for drones.

She mentioned in a Vanity Fair story in May that she had a drone she used to take pictures of her farm. She said she keeps it up “pretty high” and described it as “gentle,” “lightweight” and “very beautiful.”

On her blog, Stewart asks readers to flip through her slew of photos and leave comments — not just about the photos themselves but also about what they “think about drones and the various ways they can be used in the future!”
