Rivers won the competition during its eighth season back in 2009, beating out 14 others, including her daughter Melissa. Trump said her win was his fondest memory of the talk show host.
“It was a big moment in her life. It had a huge impact on her and was very important to her.”
“She was very loyal to me, because over the years she said what a huge impact winning ‘Celebrity Apprentice’ was.”
The real estate mogul also attended Rivers’ star-studded funeral Sunday.
Getting ready to pay final respect to GREAT LADY Joan Rivers. She could light up a room like no other! She will be greatly missed.
