Apple CEO Tim Cook skipped the usual business pleasantries at the company’s hotly anticipated Tuesday launch event and revealed two new iPhone models minutes into the presentation — the iPhone 6, and iPhone 6 Plus.
The phones feature a new horizontal home screen feature, Apple A8 64-bit chip and LCD Retina HD displays.
The standard 6 is 6.8 mm thin with a 4.7-inch screen and 38 percent more pixels than the previous model (1334 x 750), while the Plus is 7.1 mm with a 5.5-inch screen and 185 percent more pixels than the iPhone 5S (1920 x 1080).
