LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers played host to the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday night.
At the end of the first quarter, King James absolutely executed Hawks guard Thabo Sefolosha’s ankles with a ferocious crossover.
This is why you don’t poke the bear.
Sefolosha is known throughout the NBA as one of the league’s fiercest defenders. He actually gets a hand in on the ball, but LeBron’s just like, “Nah.”
People throw so much shade his way, they forget that King James is still the best player on the planet. Just when you think you’ve got him cornered, he decides to crank it up and embarrass you on national television.
This guy doesn’t even really give 100 percent effort during the regular season. If this was the playoffs, James would have rolled through the entire Hawks lineup, crossing cats and breaking ankles like nobody’s business.
Despite James’ fancy footwork, the Hawks blew out the Cavaliers, 127-98.
