Cue the crab legs, Jameis is going pro.
According to his father, Florida State’s Heisman-winning quarterback will declare for the 2015 NFL draft, reports ESPN.
Antonor Winston originally stated that his son would wait until after the College Football National Championship to decide whether to stay at FSU or enter the draft but instead “came to a firm decision Tuesday night.” Currently, Winston is the second-ranked quarterback — behind Oregon’s Marcus Mariota — and the sixth-ranked player overall.
Jameis Winston projected to go 2nd in @McShay13‘s Mock Draft and listed 6th on @MelKiperESPN‘s big board.

While his off-field behavior will undoubtedly remain an issue for potential NFL landing-zones, NFL Media analyst Bucky Brooks stated, “Winston remains the most pro-ready passer in college football. He is an exceptional pocket passer with big-time talent and valuable experience in a pro system.”
If the predictions are correct, the most likely teams we could see Jameis suiting up for in 2015 are the Buccaneers, Titans or Jets.
My money is definitely on Gang Green. Jameis seems like the type of quarterback they like.
