Obama actually follows through on a promise for once, and everybody loses their minds.
A lot of people are criticizing the Commander-in-Chief for missing that big Paris unity rally like it was a free throw. If he hoped for any backup from America’s News Source, Jon Stewart, he was sorely disappointed:
[NOTE: After I posted this, the video of Jon Stewart was removed. I guess whoever posted it realized she wasn’t helping. You can watch a recap of the episode here, if that helps.]
Wow. Tell us how you really feel, Jon!
With all due respect to Mr. Stewart and the rest of Obama’s critics, I really don’t see why this is a problem. The President of the United States is simply maintaining his stance on any free speech that could offend a Muslim, which he established years ago:
He said it. He meant it. Problem?
Of course, what Charlie Hebdo does is libel, not slander, but it’s the same principle. They mocked the Prophet of Islam, the future does not belong to them, and now everybody’s mad at Obama because he was right. It’s not his fault that he saw this coming and they didn’t. But haters gonna hate.

Update: Josh Earnest is wrong again.
