In what has become a yearly tradition, President Obama, with a little help from ESPN, shared his March Madness predictions with the nation on Wednesday morning.
The president taped the segment — shown above — over the weekend, and while his bracket already has one error after the play-in round, his picks look pretty strong. The commander in chief has Kentucky, Villanova, Arizona and Duke advancing to the Final Four, and has Kentucky pitted against Villanova in the final.
I agree with Obama — never thought I’d say those words — that Kentucky is going to win it all, but I just don’t see an “all-Wildcat” national championship game coming to fruition. I think Coach K and the Blue Devils are simply too good, and though they will eventually fall to UK, I still see them knocking off the “other Wildcats” in the semis.
Sorry, ‘Nova.
