#Emailghazi continues to be over, so feel free not to read this.
Still there? Okay then. As you’ll recall, Hillary Clinton gave the following reason for breaking federal law, endangering America’s security, and just generally being a paranoid criminal who doesn’t think the rules apply to her:
“I thought it would be easier to carry just one device for my work and for my personal e-mails, instead of two.”
This is a ridiculous excuse, but at least it’s provably untrue. Chuck Ross:
Hillary Clinton used an iPad to send some emails from the private email account she exclusively used as secretary of state despite her recent claims that she used only one device — a Blackberry — out of convenience…
In Sept. 2011, Clinton’s adviser, Huma Abedin, sent her boss a message containing an AP article about a drone strike in Pakistan.
Clinton accidentally replied with a personal message about decorations.
I’d make a joke about this, but it would be sexist. Because she’s a woman.
To recap: While serving as Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton broke federal law by setting up her own private, dangerously unsecured server for all her e-mail communications. She has wiped the server clean, refuses to hand it over, and can’t come up with a good reason for setting it up in the first place.
This is all because she has nothing to hide.
