After Vanity Fair published photos of Caitlyn Jenner, “formerly known as Bruce,” on Monday, one of Barack Obama’s senior advisors tweeted out a message of support to the 65-year-old.
Valerie Jarrett told Caitlyn Jenner “nice to meet you” and said his choice to transition into a woman was a brave one. Jarrett quoted one of Jenner’s tweets where he said he was happy to be living as his “true self.”
