Karen Finney, former MSNBC host and current Strategic Communications adviser and senior spokesperson for Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign took a swipe at President Barack Obama’s economic recovery Monday, saying many middle-class families have become “working poor” under the Obama administration.
Appearing on TV One, Finney said, “One of the things that we saw, though, over these last 8 years in terms of the recovery is a lot of families, as you point out, actually slipped out of the middle-class and into being either part of the working poor or sort of somewhere in-between.”
