U2 canceled its concert in Paris that was scheduled the day after a deadly terrorist attack left at 128 dead, but the band’s lead singer said nothing can stop them from going back.
“They took a lot of lives we’re not going to get back, but they’re not going to change the character of the city of Paris,” Bono said during an interview with the Associated Press.
“These are our people and they’re very familiar faces, the people in the audience, they’re our people,” he added.
“But we’re going back, you bet. Nothing will stop us from going back.”
