Jyrki Jokipakka of the Dallas Stars took a puck straight to the head Monday night against the Calgary Flames.
The Dallas defenseman was defending in front of the net when a Calgary player fired a shot from the top of the zone. The low-flying puck deflected off of another Calgary player’s stick and drilled Jokipakka in the head. (VIDEO: NHL Player Comes Off Bench, Blows Up Player To Stop Scoring Chance)
