Republican Nevada Congressman [crscore]Mark Amodei[/crscore], the first person to endorse Jeb Bush from an early state says the likelihood of Bush winning the Republican nomination “doesn’t look good.”
Thursday on Jon Ralston’s PBS show “Ralston Live,” Amodei was asked if he thought Bush still had a chance to get the nomination and Amodei said, “I don’t know, it doesn’t look good. I’ll tell you that.”
“In one sense, the end of July is a long ways away still, but in another sense, it’s been, it’s a heck of a lot shorter than it was six months ago. And if anything, Trump looks stronger.”
Back in August 2015, when Amodei endorsed Bush, the Las Vegas Sun extolled the endorsement from an “elite” Nevada Republican.
