Iggy Azalea had suicidal thoughts last year when she faced a lot of backlash over her music and race.

During a radio interview Friday, the 25-year-old Australian singer said she she worried she was going to have to leave the country at one point. (RELATED: This Video Will Actually Make You Like Iggy Azalea)
“There were times when I just wanted to quit life, the whole thing,” Azalea said. “Like my whole life.”
“Were you feeling suicidal?” the host asked her.
“Sometimes I did,” she said. “Like sometimes I would drive through the canyons to get to my horses and I’d be like, ‘What if I just kept driving?’ Sometimes I would feel like that.”
She said it wasn’t just the mean comments on social media that bothered her, but people in the music industry telling her that her career was over.
“I live in this country on a work visa, so if I don’t have a job, I go home. My life is here, so that’s a lot for somebody to deal with. It can make a person feel like, ‘What do I have left to live for?'” (RELATED: Iggy Azalea Denies Heroin Accusations)
